Independent publisher
DigitalFairness.com is maintained by the European Digital Policy Initiative (EDPI), an independent EU digital-policy research initiative operated by James Tamim. EDPI has no separate legal personality.
EDPI is independent of EU institutions. The publisher of this website is separate from the institutions issuing the documents in its catalogue. Read EDPI’s governance and transparency disclosures ↗
This resource focuses on source documents and legislative text. Our companion project, DigitalFairnessAct.com, provides explanatory coverage and policy analysis.
Editorial methodology
We prioritise original institutional publications, verify the title, institution, reference, date, language and document type, and record legal or procedural status explicitly. The source inventory is curated rather than exhaustive.
Record descriptions and interface text are editorial. They are not official legislative wording. Source records link directly to institutional originals. No complete institutional document is currently transcribed on this site.
Dates printed on documents and dates displayed by publication records are distinguished where they differ. Missing identifiers are described as unavailable, rather than inferred. A research briefing is never labelled a legislative position.
Future HTML reproductions require verification against the official text and applicable reuse terms, including any third-party rights. They will preserve structure, references, footnotes and wording; changes in institutional versions will be separately identified.

Verification limitations & further sources
The 2025 call for evidence, Ares(2025)6333296, is a relevant preparatory source. EUR-Lex’s verification barrier prevented a complete check of its record during this review. It is therefore linked here but excluded from the verified catalogue pending a full metadata check.
The EPRS briefing’s HTML page and its PDF link were verified. The PDF itself could not be retrieved by the research tool. The Fitness Check PDF was inspected, including its title page and main contents.
Legislative status is a dated assessment. Consult the Commission’s current initiative page for subsequent developments. Sources may change their content or location.
Corrections & accessibility feedback
Report an incorrect reference, broken link or accessibility issue to [email protected]. Please include the record URL, the issue and the original institutional source where available.
Substantive corrections should be documented on the affected record with the correction date. Original institutional versions will not be silently replaced.
